THE HUGE TRADE SHAKES UP THE N.B.A.

There had been rumors that he was unhappy in Cleveland, but no one expected all-star guard Kyrie Irving to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers this dramatically. Tuesday night, news broke that the all-star guard had been traded to the Boston Celtics for another all-star, Isiah Thomas. Several other players and a first-round draft pick were also part of the deal.

And of course Twitter had a blast with Kyrie leaving LeBron’s team:

In A Practical Education: Why Liberal Arts Majors Make Great Employees author Randall Stross makes the argument that “unlike career-focused education, liberal education prepares graduates for anything and everything—and nervous “fuzzy major” students, their even more nervous parents, college career center professionals, and prospective employers would do well to embrace liberal arts majors.”

NEW MOVIE EXPLORES INSTAGRAM AND OBSESSION

Elizabeth Olsen and Aubrey Plaza star in Ingrid Goes West, which Fast Company says “follows Plaza’s troubled Ingrid, fresh from a stay at a mental institution, as she hurtles herself toward Olsen’s Instagram-famous Taylor.” Plaza and director Matt Spicer talked to FCabout how they made the movie with a heavy dose of Instragram-ism.

Make sure to watch the trailer, which is intense, to say the least.
