Join Enchanted Mountain Aquatic Club as a Summer Swim Instructor in Saint Bonaventure, NY

As a Swim Instructor at Enchanted Mountain Aquatic Club, you will lead swimming programs and offer individual and group lessons catered to children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are deeply passionate about swimming, possess exceptional communication skills, and have the ability to inspire young swimmers while cultivating a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking an energetic and self-driven Swim Instructor to join our team in Saint Bonaventure, NY.

Responsibilities
• Deliver swim instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Establish a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Track and evaluate student progress, offering feedback and support as necessary

Requirements
• Previous experience working with students of all ages and abilities, especially in an educational or instructional environment
• Proficient swimming skills and knowledge of different swim strokes and techniques
• Solid foundation in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certification (infant, child & adult)
• Outstanding communication, organizational, time management, and innovative teaching abilities
• Effective behavior management skills, capable of handling challenging situations with poise
• Background in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous, showcasing comprehension of working with children in a structured setting
• Passion for swimming and working with children
