Job Description
At Hilton Area Swim Team, we are seeking a Swim Instructor to lead our swimming programs, offering customized lessons to children of all ages and abilities. This position is perfect for students at who are enthusiastic about swimming, possess great communication skills, and have a talent for motivating young swimmers to enjoy and respect the water. Join us in Hilton, NY and make a splash with our team!
Responsibilities
• Deliver swim instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create a safe and encouraging learning environment for all participants
• Track student progress, providing feedback and support as required
Requirements
• Experience working with students in educational or instructional settings
• Proficiency in different swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledge of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certification (infant, child & adult)
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities
• Effective behavior management to handle challenging situations professionally
• Prior experience in child care or coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children.
