Job Description
Qualifications:
Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Able to follow directions from physical therapist
Responsibilities:
- Assist in escorting patients to treatment areas
- Observe patients during treatments and reports orally to the physical therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises under the direction of the physical therapist
- Prepare the treatment areas for patient care
- Prepare modality treatments as supervised by the physical therapist including electrical stimulation, hot/cold packs, BFRT and other modalities
- Keep treatment areas (tables, equipment, and gym area) clean and disinfected
- Keep machines clean and in working order and reports any problems in a timely manner
- Perform deep cleaning of equipment on a regular basis and necessary
- File exercise flowsheets as necessary
- Assist with orientation and training of new physical therapy technicians
- Perform supply inventory and unpacks/checks-in supply orders
- Keep supply closet in order and continually maintains a clean and safe work area
- Adhere to HIPAA/OSHA regulations
Salary: Negotiable
Job Type: Part-time / looking for daytime hours
