Job Title: Junior Digital Designer

Summary: Responsible for executing online creative based on the brand vision as defined by the Chief Marketing Officer. Create fluid e-commerce solutions and effective interactive experiences for stuartweitzman.com and digital marketing initiatives. Ensure that visual communication standards are met across all ecommerce channels. Collaborate with e-commerce and marketing teams to create innovative, compelling design solutions that balance art and commerce.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop homepages, landing pages and email concepts for stuartweitzman.com.
  • Conceptualize and execute concepts for digital advertising units.
  • Create innovative user experiences based on an understanding of customer needs and brand guidelines.
  • Communicate original concepts through sketches, wireframes, visual comps, and interactive prototypes.
  • Research trends in art and digital design within the fashion industry; present ideas and concepts for application of of-the-moment digital innovation.

    Skills and Abilities Required
  • Expert level Adobe Creative Suite knowledge
  • CSS, HTML, photo and video editing
  • Excellent sense of aesthetic design.
  • Strong knowledge of current web development best practices and web production techniques.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, & JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding and experience with digital retouching and image production.
  • Dynamic individual who has energy, enthusiasm and passion for digital innovation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Self-starter/proactive.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to think proactively, multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

  • Education and Experience Required
